Abercrombie & Fitch ... America visit

The last couple of months have been a complete whirl wind. in a nutshell...

I completed a design project for an Abercrombie and Fitch competition, got through a series of interviews and have actually been offered a job as assistant designer in Ohio, America!!!!

Completely surreal and completely fantastic!!! the pictures in this post are of photos taken in Ohio during the last stage of interviews. 30 of us from around the UK were flown out to Ohio, all expenses paid, Hilton stay and everything!! was just incredible... heres a view at the life i will now be living from October/February...

oh and have just completed my dissertation...woohooo!!

Formula One innovation project

Sorry for my posting absence. Once finishing my year in industry, I started straight back at University for the start of my final year. It has been without doubt the hardest couple of months of my life. Although, all the hard work in first semester seems to have slightly paid off (only slightly). Here is some of my innovation work which I received a first for. Inspiration for toile's and designs was derived primarily from Formula 1 McLaren Cars. I juxtaposed this with a distressed grunge aesthetic to inject a dark and edgy aspect to the collection ...

2011 British Grand Prix: The cars

This weekend for my 21st i celebrated by going to the british Grand Prix. me and my family camped from the thursday until sunday. It was amazing! the atmosphere is just incredible and makes you immensely proud to be british! Most of the images i shot were on practice day so could move around and wasn't so busy. The cars are just stunning and with my new Pentax K2 slr (love it) i managed to get some great pictures...
